NOW HIRING: E-Bike Tour Guides for the 2026 Season! 🚲⚡
Island Time Adventures is seeking passionate, friendly, and knowledgeable tour guides to join our team for the 2026 season in beautiful Acadia National Park!
Position Details:
- Start Date: Early May 2026
- End Date: Late October 2026
- Hours: 40 hours per week (8am-4pm), overtime and part-time available
- Some flexibility in the above
- Location: Hulls Cove Visitor Center (Bar Harbor)
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead groups of up to ten visitors on e-bike tours through Acadia’s historic Carriage Roads
- Communicate effectively about park features, history, and nature to enhance visitor experience
- Assist with getting guests to their e-bikes
- Provide customer instruction on e-bike operation and review map directions
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive daily
- Ability to ride an e-bike on Acadia’s Carriage Roads
- Interest in Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage groups of varying ages and skill levels
- Commitment to safety and responsible tourism
